Sketching is important to design duh

Hello my babies,

I just designed a poster for The Chairs. They are a very nice group of fellows who make pretty music. They have recently put out a new album and are soon to be on tour. check it out.

Here is the sketch compared to the final product.

I was asked how I make my way from paper to computer. It usually starts with a small thumbnail. Then I scan it in (or rather take a picture with photo booth when I am lazy) and take it in to Illustrator!
